SWELLENDAM

BP & Oude Post Bistro

The name is derived from the VOC days where there was a trading post next to the BUFFELJAGSRIVER from 1730-1790. Oxen and cattle were traded at that time .

Today Oude Post Bistro is a modern trading post. Bread, Milk and Honey...... jam, olives, beskuit, newspaper, fudge, pies, Farmstall productsEureka flour, Mantelli's koekies, organic tee and PREMIUM BLEND COFFEE. It is also a BP fillstation.

They have a big playing area with live animals, jungle gym, scooters etc. Shops that were recently added include Hartsgoed and Milk&Sugar.

If you want to Mountain Bike the Canola Trails, or cycle Tradouw Pass for the Double Century, this is the perfect place to start and finish your ride or for someone to pick you up after the ride.
