HOW LONG AND TOUGH IS THIS HIKE:

Distance = 9km

Climb = 528m

Direction = your choice - circle route

Total Hiking time = 3-4 hours

The 9km route starts and ends at the Marloth Office Parking. On the Google Map there are two other parking options shown as well. If you choose any of the two parking areas not located at the Marloth Offices the route will by about 1.6km shorter = 7.4km.

These routes can be attempted clock-wise or anti-clockwise. Depending on the weather you will find water and swimming spots on this route. When you are up high and on the plaat, there is a route coming down the middle - if you take this option you will be doing Plaat-West or Plaat-East and not the whole Plaat.
